Preparing for your concrete pumping solution

When you use Canvey Concrete Pumping, disruption is always kept to a minimum. But, as preparation, you must provide two bags of cement on site to prime the pipeline, before we run concrete through it.

A water supply isn’t essential as we carry our own, but if available it can assist with the cleaning at the end of the pour. We need at least 7 metres of space to park the lorry in, and 10 metres at the rear of the pump to allow concrete to be discharged into the pump.

Clean up and concrete waste disposal

When the pumping is completed, there’s a small amount of concrete that must be washed out on site, and discharged into a safe area for disposal. This can be placed into the area that’s been poured as the concrete is of the same high quality as it was when being pumped.

There’ll be approximately three buckets of wash-out waste. This waste needs to be safely disposed of on site, before our concrete lorry can leave. For further advice, please call us.
